The Top 5 Benefits of Microneedling Part 2 | LM Clinical

There are that many incredible benefits of microneedling that are worth knowing about, that we couldn’t just leave it at 5. That is why we have come back with part two.

Microneedling isn’t just all the ‘rage’ in skincare for no reason…

Although we don’t believe in quick fixes, you really can see results after your first session with microneedling. Don’t get it twisted though, in order to see a true, long-lasting transformation you do have to have regular sessions. Just like anything else, you need to be consistent to see the results you desire.

Like we mentioned in the previous blog and as many of you know, for our microneedling treatment that we offer here in Warwickshire, we use the industry leading device called The SkinPen Precision device.

If you are interested in coming to us to have it done, this is what you will find it under on our website.

So, here’s 5 more of the amazing benefits for you.

  1. Improves the effectiveness of topical products

Post-microneedling is the penultimate time to apply anti-ageing treatments, moisturisers and other topical treatments that will enhance your skin's health and appearance.

The tiny microscopic channels created by the SkinPen (microneedle) receives these creams and serums far more rapidly and also delivers them deeper into your dermis than if you were to apply regularly.

  1. Fights stretch marks

One of the best things about microneedling is that it works just about anywhere on your body. It is known to be effective for reducing the appearance of stretch marks that appear after rapid growth periods, such as during pregnancy.

  1. Rosacea production

The redness and skin thickening of rosacea can be addressed with microneedling. If you suffer from this skin condition, you will know that you will experience a hastened breakdown of collagen.

That is where the microneedling comes in as it stimulates the growth of collagen to offset and replace this breakdown, resulting in your skin looking less inflamed and irritated.

  1. Acne improvements

Due to the improved delivery of the topical applications, you are able to use microneedling to help improve the effectiveness of topical acne treatments.

The AlumierMD medical grade skincare products that we use in clinics and in our own skincare range can help you clear up your skin. These two combined will have your skin glowing in no time at all.

  1. Fewer side effects than laser or intensive peels

The effects of microneedling can be comparable to those of lasering and chemical peels however, without the long downtime. With microneedling, you can enjoy a glowing complexion anywhere between 24-72 hours after your first session.

Contrastingly, with laser resurfacing, your recovery can take up to anywhere between 3-10 days and your skin will need 14-21 days to get back to normal after a medium or intensive chemical peel.

Leanne at LM Clinical is here to help you explore the many benefits of microneedling.
